The Contractor shall provide all items required to perform work, to include but not limited to; personnel, licensures, equipment, tools, vehicles, materials, employee personnel protection/safety equipment, employee safety training, supervision and any other supplies or services necessary to collect, package, transport and dispose of  medical waste in accordance with (IAW) all applicable guidelines and laws.  Pharmaceutical and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) waste consists of but not limited to pharmaceutical and RCRA waste containers. Pharmaceutical waste container contents may include but are not limited to: pills, tablets, capsules, swab sticks, cotton balls, gauze, IUDs, Nexplanon devices, intravenous (IV) devices, vials, needles, and syringes with or without needles.  RCRA waste container contents may include but are not limited to:  pills, tablets, capsules, swab sticks, cotton balls, gauze, and gum.  The RCRA pills, tablets, or capsules may be considered bulk chemotherapy.  The contractor shall comply with all transportation and disposal requirements of pharmaceutical and RCRA waste IAW California laws, if disposed in that given state, and all federal laws, regulations and interstate transportation requirements from the 9th Medical Group Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) and Veterinary Clinic, Beale AFB, CA to a treatment and disposal facility licensed to accept RCRA and pharmaceutical waste.
