Petroleum Investigation and Remediation Services

The State intends to create two lists of prequalified contractors to provide remedial and investigative services at small petroleum cleanup sites. The top qualified companies that provide any of the following services will be ranked and listed on two separate lists: 1) Petroleum Investigation and Contaminated Soil Excavation Oversight, 2) Remedial Design, Operation, and Maintenance.
Investigation and Contaminated Soil Excavation Oversight- services at a minimum include: Preparation of scope of work and budget at petroleum spill sites. This may include evaluation of field measurements in soil for free product, oil saturation, and headspace using a photoionization detector. It may also include a soil boring investigation and collection of soil samples for laboratory analysis and the installation, development, sampling and abandonment of monitoring wells. Companies must have appropriate training, experience, and a health & safety program.
