The Bureau has determined that petroleum contaminated soil exceeding remedial guidelines is present.
The Department is seeking proposals for excavation and disposal of petroleum-contaminated soil and associated site safety and restoration measures. This work will likely be done in August, 2010.
The Department estimates that approximately 850 cubic yards of petroleum contaminated soil requires excavation and removal from relatively shallow (less than 12 ft.) soils. The Department is requesting proposals (bids) to excavate, transport, and dispose of contaminated soil, backfill/regrade with clean fill, loam and seed/site restoration.
