The National Forests in Mississippi is soliciting for vegetation management services on lands within its administrative boundaries. For this requirement, the contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, transportation, permits, licenses, supervision, expertise, and other incidentals necessary to successfully complete the following services including but not limited to:

•  Manual Treatments - tree planting, herbicide application, site preparation, precommercial thinning, release, midstory removal, hazard tree felling, and trail maintenance cutting and clearing.

•  Mechanical Treatments - shearing, chopping, mulching, scarification, wildlife openings, and fireline construction and rehabilitation.

This is a request for proposals which will result in award of multiple firm-fixed price, performance-based, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracts for a basic period of performance from date of award through December 31, 2018, plus four (4) one-year option periods. Submission of an offer for the basic contract period constitutes an offer to perform in the option period(s), if exercised. This project is set-aside 100% for small businesses. Award will be made based on the best value to the Government and can be made on initial offers.
