City Health Care Partnership will become a Community Interest Company from the 1st October 2009.
It will have TUPE transferred to it approximately 1300 Health Care professionals and support staff.
These staff will retain their NHS pension status however, new employees from the 1st October 2009 will have to be offered a "comparative pension scheme".
Expressions of interest are sought from currently established pension providers who can advise, develop and assist in implementing a "comparable company pension scheme for City Health Care Partnership".
