The use of paths by walkers, runners, cyclists, and skaters for recreation and general transportation is on the increase in the Metropolitan Area. This is due in large part to the development and expansion of paths such as the drainageway paths. These pathway systems support pedestrian travel through the core area with connections to the Towns. Better pathway connections are needed in the newer residential and commercial areas closer to the Mountain. The Boulevard could serve as a corridor for a pedestrian sidepath from the east to the west ends of the community. This study will determine the feasibility of such a sidepath.
