Pedestrian Safety and Streetscape Improvements
The City is seeking a consultant to provide full design services (Schematic Design, Preliminary Design, Final Design and Contract Documents) for a comprehensive set of pedestrian safety and streetscape improvements around the intersection of Park Avenue and 125th street that:
• Make the streets around the station cleaner, safer, and easier to navigate;
• Activate vacant space under the Viaduct;
• Beautify the streetscape around the Station and provide amenities for pedestrians; and
• Provide desirable uses and programming that attract people to the area.
