INL-Border Security in Mexico City has a requirement to procure and pilot detection equipment for the Government of Mexico (GoM), particularly "Servicio de Administracion Tributaria (SAT)" in order to efficiently and effectively detect contraband hidden on and inside an individual's body.

These systems will be installed in a busy environment, and have the ability to quickly capture an image of pedestrians while minimally impeding the flow of traffic. The systems must function at major pedestrian crossings with high traffic volumes, as the cornerstone of SAT/CBP mission core requirement is to secure the border while facilitating the flow of legitimate travel and trade.

The objective of this procurement is to deliver technological tools and processes that enable SAT and CBP to perform safe, reliable, effective, and efficient non-intrusive inspections - to prevent, detect, and interdict contraband from entering or leaving the U.S.
