Patient Interface Kits for IFS Advanced Femtosecond Refractive laser
The Contracting Office at Naval Hospital Bremerton, Bremerton WA intends to issue a sole source award to AMO Sales and Service, Inc, 1700 E ST Andrew PL Santa Ana, CA 92705-4933 pursuant to IAW FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is for the purchase of IFLAP US Patient Interface Kits (Catalog Number 81030). These kits are the only compatible kits with the IFS Advanced Femtosecond Refractive Laser located in Ophthalmology in Naval Hospital Bremerton. These kits are for usage during the period of 01SEP2018-31AUG2019.
The NAICS Code is 339115 with a size standard of 1000 and is not a small business set aside. This acquisition is being conducted under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures, therefore the requirements of FAR Part 6, Competitive Requirements are not applicable and the resultant purchase order will include all applicable provisions and clauses.
This notice is NOT a request for quotes or a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible vendors may submit by email a capability statement by 17AUG2018. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no affirmative responses are received by 17AUG2018 to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, an order will be placed with AMO Sales and Service, Inc. prior to 31AUG2018.
