Parking Consultant
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to obtain competitive
proposals from qualified firms or individuals capable of providing professional
parking consultant/parking analysis services with the purpose of establishing one
or more contracts with such firms or individuals.
The City is requesting proposals from qualified consultants for the
purpose of selecting a parking consultant to analyze the citys current parking
programs and resources and to prepare a comprehensive parking program for
the downtown area (see attached generalized map). A base
determination is expected as to whether the current entire inventory of available
parking is undersupplied and/or the current supply is adequate for the near term
with better management of the resource. The consultant will also analyze the
future parking needs of the downtown area and make recommendations of future
parking growth over the next ten (10) years.
