Marin County Community Mental Health Services (CMHS) requests proposals for an agency to coordinate the implementation of the Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) throughout Marin County. Triple P is designed to provide a continuum of evidence-based parenting education and support services. Very early intervention is provided in settings that parents already access in order to reach families earlier and reduce barriers to receiving services. If further intervention is needed, parents can be referred to more in-depth sessions. The contracting agency will coordinate the training of providers and effective implementation of the Triple P program. Marin County CMHS has a maximum of $120,000 available annually to cover the expenses incurred under a contract to be awarded as a result of this RFP. An additional $50,000 is available for start-up expenses. The estimated start date for the program is May 15, 2009.
