North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 488991, Packing and Crating for preparing goods for transportation. This procurement action is for the packing, crating, storage, and transportation of house hold goods for the Blue Grass Army Depot Area of Responsibility. Area of Responsibility is for Kentucky Counties Area 1, 2, 3, 4 Zone 28, and Ohio Counties Area 4 Zone 34 as follows:


Area 1-Zone 28: Anderson, Bath, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Estill, Fayette, Franklin, Garrard, Harrison, Jessamine, Madison, Menifee, Mercer, Montgomery, Nicholas, Powell, Scott, Woodford (19)



Area 2,3,4-Zone 28: Bell, Boone, Boyd, Bracken, Breathitt, Campbell, Carter, Clay, Elliot, Fleming, Floyd, Gallatin, Grant, Greenup, Harlan, Jackson, Johnson, Kenton, Knott, Knox, Laurel, Lawrence, Lee, Leslie, Letcher, Lewis, Lincoln, Magoffin, Martin, Mason, McCreary, Morgan, Owen, Owsley, Pendleton, Perry, Pike, Pulaski, Robertson, Rockcastle, Rowan, Whitley, Wolfe (43)

Contractor will furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services and materials, excerpt as specified herein as Government-furnished, for the preparation of personal property of Department of Defense personnel for shipment and/or storage and related service that will be described in the Performance Work Statement released with the solicitation.



This will be a firm fixed price contract. This procurement will be a 100% small business set-aside. FOB Destination Blue Grass Army Depot, Richmond, KY Area of Responsibilities. Payments will be based on individual delivery orders provide on individual task orders to the contract for each House Hold Goods movement. All contractors who provide goods/services to the DOD are required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov/ or contact SAM at 866-606-8220 prior to doing business with the DOD. Approximate issues date of the solicitation is 23 May 2019 with a closing date approximately 15 days from the date of issue. The solicitation shall be issued via the Internet at http://www.fbo.gov. Any changes to the solicitation shall also be posted to the FBO web site and is the contractor's responsibility to check these sites daily for any posted changes.
