1.1 SUMMARY: This Section includes a packaged engine-generator set for emergency power
supply with the following features:
Packaged Engine Generator Set:
800 KW, 480/277 volts, 60 Hz, 3 phase, 4 wire
Integral outdoor enclosure
Unit-mounted cooling system
Unit-mounted control and monitoring
Battery charger
Sub-base tank
Unit mounted System Generator Control panel used to monitor generator alarms and
provide start/stop commands to generator and exercise function.
Specifications for operating the generators:
Interface with an existing automatic transfer switch (ATS).
The package engine generator set definitions:
New Unit New equipment which has never been installed complete with
manufacturer warranty, factory testing data, etc.
Refurbished Unit Less than four (4) years old which has been refurbished and
tested and certified by the manufacturers authorized service agency complete with
warranty and test date.
