P-8A Peculiar Support Equipment
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst requires P-8A Peculiar Support Equipment. The items required are detailed in Attachment 1 to this synopsis. The Government intends to issue a contract on a limited competition basis between Boeing's authorized small business manufacturers. Under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, only Boeing and their authorized manufacturers have the technical data to manufacture the required equipment. Please submit any questions or comments regarding the list at Attachment 1 to the point of contact listed prior to the closing date. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to full and open competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a full and open competitive procurement.
