Fairchild AFB, Washington is seeking information regarding Portable Terminal Area Communication Interrogation Units (PTIU) for purchase.

Contractors are to provide four (4) PTIUs (part number - 10100-117-1), or equal, that work in conjunction with the Combat Survivor Evader Locator (CSEL) hand-held radios (HHR) currently in use-make and model # AN/PRQ-7A. Delivery of the units shall be to Fairchild AFB, WA 99224.
Contractors are requested to provide their suggested product meeting the following minimum requirements: 



-    Must work with AN/PRQ-7A CSEL HHR.
-    PTIU must work with the currently operating PTIUs - part number 10100-117-1.
-    Must meet the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) Program of Record for Joint Search and Rescue.
-    Must be fully portable
-    PTIU's must have all cables/software/operation guides
-    All "Or Equal" products must meet all of the standards set forth in this sources sought.


The requirement is expected to be fulfilled under the likely NAICS 334220, Mobile communications equipment manufacturing, with a size standard of 1,250 employees. The PSC is 5895.



This sources sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for Quotes. It does not constitute a solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the government. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. All interested parties shall be required to respond to the resultant solicitation separately from their response to this sources sought notice. A responsible potential source shall have registered with the System for Award Management (SAM).
The intent of this sources sought is to verify if there are any PTIU's that are equal to the PTIU 10112-117-1, with the capabilities referenced above. All vendors that are capable of providing either the PTIU 10112-117-1, or equal are welcome to respond with their capability to meet the requirement. All products offered must not void any manufacturer warranty.


Interested contractors shall provide their business category (small or large). The response should include one page providing the following information: business name and address, CAGE code, size classification, socioeconomic classification based on NAICS size standard and a point of contact.
