PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICE
The Port Authority is requesting proposals for professional engineering services to design a new intermodal container transfer facility. The project generally includes, but
is not limited to: two working tracks of approximately 5,000 ft +/-, with associated switches,
turnouts, etc. The facility will also contain a paved container staging area of approximately 20 to
40 acres, access road, gate, fencing and appropriate security measures. The facility will be
located in southeast Virginia on a site to be determined by the Authority.
