The City is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide complete Architectural / Engineering services for the design of a new fire station.

The new fire station must incorporate a 50-year minimum design life. The
anticipated building size is approximately 12,500 SF. Energy efficiency / LEEDS
compliance will be an important design consideration.
Preliminary design floor plans and site layout drawings are attached to this RFP.
These plans were prepared for preliminary reference and planning purposes onlyCity of Holladay

and should NOT be considered a project requirement. The City is very interested
in creative concepts and ideas to be proposed by the architect.
The design of the new facility will be evaluated both on form and function. The
project is viewed as part of the City’s downtown “Village” redevelopment area.
The new structure must incorporate architectural design features and appearance
consistent with the aesthetic place-making goals of the Holladay Village. A
“turn-of-the century” architectural style is envisioned, inclusive of a hose-drying
tower and other design elements that would highlight historical practices of firefighting during that era.
