DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT: This is a Desing-Build project consisting
of the total replacement of a fuel reserve storage composed of 3 overhead steel tank 15,000 liter capacity each, cylindrical type. The storage will be totally demolished with all its components, like concrete foundation and bases, fence , stairs and catwalks, and all accessory devices. The new reserve will consist of two tanks, of which one shall have 6,000 gal (22,700 liter) capacity, and the other shall be 2,000 gal (7,600 liter), both to be installed above ground on a new concrete pad.
FUNDING: The project is funded
LOCATION OF THE WORK: The site of the proposed work is Camp Darby ( Depot Area),
Tombolo (Pisa)
MAGNITUDE OF THE PROJECT: The magnitude of this project is between $
100,000 and $ 250,000.
METHOD OF CONTRACTING: This will be a Request for Proposal resulting
in a firm fixed price contract.
PERFORMANCE PERIOD: The Performance Period will be 355 calendar days from the Notice to proceed.
SOA: Contractor is required to be SOA OG1 classification I qualified
SITE VISIT: The site visit will be held on July 07, 2014 at 9:30 hrs at main
gate no. 27 Camp Darby (Depot Area), Tombolo (Pisa),Italy.
MISCELLANEOUS:
The solicitation package , including the technical specificaiton , description of
the work and addtional information will be posted within few weeks on Federal
Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov).
To be awarded a government contract you MUST have DUNS (Dun&

SAM(https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM). We will discuss this at the site
visit.
