PRESOLICITATION NOTICE TO SOLE SOURCE SENSOR PROBES TO ELECTRIC BOAT
NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Pearl Harbor contracting office intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to Electric Boat Corporation to procure three (3) probe sensors with Electric Boat P/N for PHNSY. The required delivery date for this material is June 20, 2014.
Per FAR 13.106-1, the contracting officer has determined that only one source is reasonable available to provide the required services.
At this time, Electric Boat Corporation is the only identified source capable of providing this material. A Sole Source Justification is attached.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334513 with the size standard of 500.
This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit technical capabilities, which, may be considered by 10 June 2014 noon HST. All responses must be submitted to the Government point of contact at the email address shown below. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
