PRE SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR DEMOLITION OF PUMP ENCLOSURE AT ALEXANDRIA NATIONAL CEMETERY, 1450 WILKES ST. ALEXANDRIA, VA 22314

Contractor shall include project management, design and technical installation, as stipulated. Contractor shall furnish the necessary labor, material, and equipment to Demolish and remove the existing pump house enclosure. Contractor shall verify all utilities such as electrical and plumbing are disconnected prior to start work. Electrical feed to this existing pump house is from the existing lodge building located on site. Contractor shall demolish the circuit and cap and abandon any existing conduit underground. Contractor shall demolish the existing plumbing in the pump house enclosure and cap and abandon any existing underground piping.
Magnitude of Construction: Less than $25,000
Duration: Term of the contract shall be thirty days (30 days) from date of award. The Contractor shall complete all work within 30 calendar days after receipt of notice of award, subject to all terms, conditions, provisions and schedules of the contract.
This acquisition is for a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 238910 is applicable. Please reference RFQ Number VA786-17-Q-0216 on remittances. An electronic solicitation will be available for download from www.FedBizOpps.gov on or about February 17, 2017. Responses to the solicitation are due by 2:00 p.m., March 6, 2017. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments to the solicitation which is available at Fed Biz Opps.
There will be a group site visit held on February 22, 2017 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with the Cemetery Director James Sanders.
