PREPAID TUITION CONTRACT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The project is a proposed replacement for an existing information system used to manage
contracts for the Prepaid Tuition program, for which the Office
has oversight. The current system (Banner) is a proprietary system licensed.
It is intended that the proposed information system will supplant the existing system, and
that existing data will be migrated to work with the new system. The proposed system
will provide the functionality and features desired and projected to be needed for the
current and future growth of the program over the next ten years.
It is a goal of this project to create an information system that can be maintained over the
long term by existing and new agency personnel, using existing and future agency
infrastructure, and without ongoing external licensing and/or maintenance costs.
