The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 23, Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System Construction Contracting Product Line Team is soliciting for a construction project for the Fort Meade VA in South Dakota that shall include, but not be limited to, furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation and supervision including demolition and removal of existing element indicated for removal, to perform work associated with this project as required by the drawings and specifications. The Project 568-16-101, Relocate Sterile Processing Services and Endoscopy, Fort Meade, South Dakota, requires the relocation of Sterile Processing Services (SPS) from the basement of Building 113 into the first floor of the recently completed surgical suite in Building 113. The scope also includes a complete renovation of second floor vacated surgical rooms and relocation of the Endoscopy Department into this area. All work shall be performed in Building 113, at the VA Black Hills Health Care System.
The estimated construction cost is between $5M and $10M. Deductive Bid Alternates are included.
Solicitation Number 36C26318B0038 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about March 7, 2018. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to bid the project.
An Organized site visit will be held, see solicitation for date and time.
The date for request for proposal is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, April 19, 2018 (see solicitation when available for specific information.)
The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond, Payment Bond, or Irrevocable Letter of Credit within 10 calendar days of award notification. The Period of Performance is 540 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
THIS SOLICITATION IS SET-ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461.
