PLUMBING ENGINEERING - New Manufacturing Building, St. Martinville, LA
MCMUSA, a Newton, MA-based design-build firm is seeking proposals from qualified licensed Plumbing Engineers to design and specify the Plumbing systems for a new single new single story manufacturing and office building located in the St. Martin Parish Industrial Park in St. Martinville, LA. Scope of the project includes:
-Approximately 50,000 sf manufacturing building (clear span metal building)
-Approximately 3,000 sf front office space fitup in matching exterior building construction
This solicitation for services shall include design, specification, and engineering of complete plumbing systems, including to coordinate infrastructure requirements for equipment yet to be determined by the client. The Professional Engineer will be retained to provide stamped design drawings, written specifications (spec on drawings is acceptable), phasing strategy, and assistance with permitting, controlled construction affidavits (as required), review of shop drawings, and coordination with MCMs in-house architectural staff. The building shell is being designed and fabricated by Butler Buildings and their representatives. Ability to perform HVAC, electrical, and fire protection engineering services desirable but not required.
NOTE: Due to scheduling issues and depending on engineers workload, the project may be fast tracked, requiring issuance of a slab/building utilities plan for foundation work prior to issuance of 100% complete working drawings.
