PHOTOCOPY/ELECTROSTATIC/DIGITIZATION REPRODUCTION AND MICROFILM REPRODUCTION/DUPLICATION/DIGITIZATION SUPPORT SERVICES
This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) not a pre-solicitation notice or solicitation for proposals/quotations. Pursuant to FAR Part 10 (Market Research), the purpose of this notice is to determine if sources capable of satisfying the agency's requirements exist. Pursuant to FAR Part 6 and FAR Part 19, competition and set-aside decisions may be based on the results of this market research. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. This notice in no way obligates the Government to any further action.
This notice is issued by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), College Park, MD to identify sources capable of providing the following:
REQUIREMENTS: NARA is seeking sources for providing photocopy/electrostatic and microfilm reproduction support services. NARA provides reproductions of records to the public and other Federal agencies. The reproduction service program is funded through the National Archives Trust Fund (XT). XT was established under 44 U.S. Chapter 23. Under the authority of U.S. §2116(c), the Archivist may charge a fee to the general public and to other Federal agencies to recover the costs for making or certifying copies or reproductions of materials under NARA custody. More information is contained within the draft PWS.
SUBMISSION OF INFORMATION: Companies having capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements are invited to provide information to contribute to this market survey/sources sought notice including commercial market information and company information. Companies may respond to this Sources Sought Notice via e-mail to jeffrey.auser@nara.gov no later than 5/30/17 at 12:00 PM Eastern Time with the following information/documentation:
1. Name of Company, Address, and DUNS Number;
2. Point of Contact and Phone Number;
3. Business Size applicable to the NAICS Code: 8(a) Business / HUBZone Small Business/ Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business / Small Business / Large Business;
4. All interested parties are encouraged to provide information on their capabilities to meet this requirement. In order to be considered a potential source, interested parties must submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating the capabilities to satisfy the requirement specified above. The documentation shall include contracting sources and descriptive literature containing sufficient technical documentation to establish a bona fide capability to meet this requirement;
5. A detailed description of similar services delivered to the Federal Government during the past five years; and
6. Commercial market information and practices applicable to this request.
7. A statement as to whether the interested party holds one or more GWAC (SEWP, CIO-CS, etc.) or Federal Supply Schedule contracts, a list of contracts held, and whether the required services are offered under any or all held contracts.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: SAM Interested parties should register in the System for Award Management (SAM). The SAM can be obtained by accessing the internet at www.sam.gov.

The Government reserves the right to use any information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate, including using technical information provided by respondents in any resultant solicitation.
At this time no solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. After a review of the responses received, NARA may issue a solicitation for these services. It is the potential offeror's responsibility to monitor for the release of any future solicitation that may result from this Sources Sought Notice. However, responses to this Sources Sought Notice will not be considered adequate responses to any resultant solicitation.
