PERSONS AND/OR COMPANIES AUTHORIZED TO SELL, IMPLEMENT AND SUPPORT LEARNING CONTENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The City is requesting submissions in response to this Request for Information (RFI) for persons and/or companies authorized to sell, implement and support a Learning Content Management System. The City currently does not utilize an integrated learning management system (LMS).
The city has a vision of creating an integrated, functionally rich LMS. The LMS will provide
management and staff with excellent course management tools and assessment capability.
The City is planning to develop a web-based learning environment for customized
communication and distribution of on-line, collaborative learning information and content. Central to
the development will be an LMS, the software application for the administration, documentation,
tracking, and reporting of training programs, classroom and online events, e-learning programs and
training content. Users would include internal employees, managers and Human Resources and
Organization Development learning and development administrators.
