The purpose is to evaluate the demands on and performance of the library, both in its support divisions and its public services divisions. In essence, the question to be answered is Are the resources of the library being utilized effectively and efficiently to provide the best possible public services? The performance audit will be overseen by the Performance Audit Oversight Committee. The committee will consist of senior library management staff, and representatives from other local public jurisdictions served by the Authority, as well as members of the public, potentially.
