Introduction
The USG has an upcoming new requirement that is still being worked and will not be finalized before the extension date ends. It is the Government's intent to issue this effort outside the current Bridge Contract vehicle, once the requirements have been finalized as PEO M&S ITSS PWS. In the interim, the Government must ensure there is no gap in the services currently being performed, therefore, we are proposing to add a 12- month extension with two 3-month option periods to accommodate the review cycle and a transition in/out period for the new requirement.
This RFI is your notice of the Government's intent to satisfy this 18 month extension requirement, pursuant to FAR 16.505 and DFARS 216.505-70. The required services are as stated in the PWS. Should no interest be identified, the Government plans to proceed with the execution of the contemplated extension and will provide notice when the new requirement has been issued on FEDBIZOPS.
