GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The scope of this project is to construct a 3 story, 300 space parking garage with a stair tower and a 2-elevator tower located at the VA Trinka Davis Veterans Village, 180 Martin Drive, Carrolton, GA 30117. The successful offeror shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, furnish labor and materials and perform work for the construction in accordance with the design and specifications as will be provided in the forthcoming solicitation.

SET-ASIDE INFORMATION: This solicitation will be issued pursuant to the authority under Public Law 109-461 (38 U.S.C. 8127) and is a 100% Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The SDVOSB must be a small business under the relevant North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code and MUST be registered and verifiable at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov and www.sam.gov to be eligible for award. Offerors MUST ensure registration in these websites are accurate, complete and have not expired prior to proposal due date.

NAICS CODE: The NAICS code assigned to this construction project is 236220 with a Small Business Size Standard of $36.5M.

MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: Between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00

SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: The tentative date for posting the solicitation documents to www.fbo.gov is on or about August 18th, 2017 with proposals due approximately 30 days later. These are only tentative dates. The solicitation will have specific dates, times, and locations for a site visit and proposal submissions. This requirement is anticipated to result in a firm-fixed-price contract. Dissemination of the solicitation, specifications and drawings is limited to electronic medium only. Interested contractors should watch for the issuance of the solicitation and for notifications of updates by registering at www.fbo.gov. An Offeror's mailing list WILL NOT be prepared nor distributed by the Contracting Officer.

SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS: Amendments to the solicitation will be posted at www.fbo.gov. Paper copies of amendments will NOT be issued. By registering to "Watch This Opportunity", Offerors will be notified by e-mail of any new amendments that have been issued and posted. No other notification of amendments will be provided. Offerors are reminded that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation prior to the time for receipt of offers in accordance with FAR 52.215-1 [Instruction to Offerors Competitive Acquisition], Paragraph (b) [Amendments to solicitations].
