PAO 12-INCH SONIC CASING FY18
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE:
The Bureau of Reclamationbs Provo Area Office (PAO) has a requirement to purchase 12-Inch-diameter Sonic Drill Casing and accessories. All items purchased under this solicitation and subsequent contract shall be Boart Longyear brand to match the existing tooling of the PAO drilling operations. The table below lists the the Boart Longyear part number and description of the items to be purchased under this contract. A signed justification for brand name only is attached.

All items are to be delivered to Reclamationbs drill yard located at 315 West 1100 North, Pleasant Grove, UT 84062-1631. Please note that the drill yard cannot be currently accessed from 1100 North due to building construction. Temporary access to the drill yard can be made from 475 West 1000 North, Pleasant Grove.
COMPETITION:
Solicitation No. 140R4018Q0019 is anticipated to be a total Small Business Set-Aside. The requirement shall be procured in accordance with FAR 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, & 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
NAICS CODE AND SIZE STANDARD:
The NAICS Code for this requirement is 333131, Mining Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 500 Employees.
