PACKING, CONTAINERIZATION AND LOCAL DRAYAGE OF DIRECT PROCUREMENT METHOD (DPM) PERSONAL PROPERTY SHIPMENTS
SYNOPSIS
Pre-solicitation/Synopsis Notice for Packing, Containerization and Local Drayage of Direct Procurement Method (DPM) Personal Property Shipments located on Fort Bliss Army Military Installation in El Paso, Texas. This is a PRE-SOLICITATION Notice ONLY. This is not a request for Proposals and no contract shall be awarded at this time.
The United States Army Post at Fort Bliss, Texas has a requirement for contractors to provide services for , Containerization and Local Drayage of Direct Procurement Method (DPM) Personal Property Shipments for the Fort Bliss, Texas area. The award will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with a period of performance beginning on or about 15 January 2015 for a total of 365 days. The NAICS for this requirement is 484210 and the size standard is $25.5 million. This requirement will be 100% set aside for small businesses.
It is anticipated that a formal solicitation will be issued on or about December 5th, 2014. In order to be eligible for award, the successful offeror's System Award Management (SAM) registration must be active and include representations and certifications. Vendor must be registered in SAM under the appropriate small business category. Upon release of the solicitation, it will be available on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) at https://acquisition.army.mil. This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments issued. Paper copies will not be available. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of solicitation, amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of offers may render your offer nonresponsive and result in the rejection of offer.
