Boeing Commercial Common Support Equipment for P-8A
This notice serves as a Request for a Proposal to procure various Boeing P-8A Commercial Common Support Equipment. The items required are detailed in the attached solicitation document. The Government intends to issue a Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract on a limited competition basis between Boeing's authorized small business manufacturers. Under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, only Boeing and their authorized manufacturers have the technical data to manufacture the required equipment.
It is requested that any Boeing authorized small business manufacturers prepare and submit a proposal for the attached solicitation document. The attached solicitation shall serve as the basis for the proposal. Please submit your proposal response via email to the Contract Specialist, Lisa Winkler at lisa.winkler@navy.mil prior to the closing date.
It is important to note that this letter shall not be construed as obligating the Government to award a contract or authorizing work to commence and shall not serve as a basis for any future claims against the Government. Award of any resultant contract will be contingent upon the availability of funds.
