Overhead Hoists Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair - Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia
The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Fort Stewart intends to solicit proposals in response to Request for Proposal (RFP) W9124M-14-T-0002 to provide inspection, maintenance, and repairs services for overhead hoists at Fort Stewart, Georgia and Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia.
The resulting contract will provide overhead hoists quarterly inspections with annual load tests and repairs at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. The Contractor shall perform quarterly operational and safety inspections with annual load test and repairs to overhead hoists located at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, GA. These inspections and tests shall be performed for the Directorate of Public Works (DPW) at each location.
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to inspect, maintain, and repair overhead hoists as defined in this Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property and services.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 811310 with a Small Business Size Standard of $7M. The Government intends to solicit this acquisition as a 100% Small Business set-aside. The anticipated solicitation release date will be on or about 28 May 2014. The resulting contract will be for a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract with a base period of one year and two (2) one-year options. The anticipated period of performance for the base period is: 1 July 2014 through 30 June 2015.
This solicitation will be issued electronically. It will be available only via the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fedbizopps.gov) through the Army Single Face with Industry website (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/). Potential Offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package, as no paper copies will be furnished. No bidder mailing list will be maintained.
