Osscora Drill System INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE
The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, VISN 19 Network Contracting Office (NCO 19), on behalf of Salt Lake City VAMC, plans to contract by means of other than full and open competition for the Osscora Drill System. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for this requirement. The NAICS code is 339112 and the Classification code is 6515. The suggested Vendor is Cochlear Corporation, 612 Iverness Drive East, Englewood, CO 80112. Requested items consist of 1 each Osscora Drill System, 4 implants, Guide Drill, Widening Drill, Healing Cap, Biopsy Punch, Non-Adhesive Dressing. The Osscora Drill System features a bone anchored hearing aid implantation. The Osscora drill also features compatibility with other Cochlear instrumentation.
All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. This is not a request for proposal. However, companies that can provide an equal product must submit their technical capabilities to include the technical specification of their product, past performance information, price and delivery time.
The information submitted will be reviewed by the Government technical representatives for considering future requirements.
