The Oregon Cultural Heritage Commission is seeking a video producer or producers to develop a video for the traveling exhibition "Russell Lee in the Pacific Northwest: Documenting Japanese American Farm Labor Camps." The video will utilize existing video oral history interviews, recorded between April and December 2013. Currently fifteen interviews have been recorded. Excerpts from these interviews will highlight the subjects' memories of Japanese American farm labor camps during World War II. The video may also feature additional photographs taken by Russell Lee in 1942, including those not featured in the exhibition itself. The video will accompany a set of framed black and white photographs, providing first hand accounts of the labor camps. OCHC envisions the final product to be a black and white video, approximately ten minutes in length. The producer(s) will deliver to OCHC a final digital video in multiple formats that can be shown in the exhibition itself, as well as on the organization's website.
