Goals: The Department desires to provide general health treatment on-site at the penitentiary to offenders incarcerated.
Objectives: The Department desires to provide quality optometry services to offenders at the penitentiary as well as to decrease the security risks to the general public that are inherent in the transportation of offenders from institutional grounds to appointments by continuing to provide these services on the institutional grounds at the penitentiary.
This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued by the Department for the purpose of soliciting competitive proposals from bona fide, qualified proposers who are interested in providing optometry services to be performed at the penitentiary.
