Opticom System Maintenance and Service
The City is soliciting sealed bids from qualified vendors to furnish the Department with costs to repair/replace Opticom system components on designated traffic signal intersections in the City and emitters on Department units.
Designated Traffic Signals Requiring Maintenance and Service Nine (9) traffic signals have known maintenance and service needs.
The following Department units have or require installation of emitters and are subject to evaluation to ensure they are operating properly:
Engine 11
Engine 12
Engine 13
Rescue 11
Ambulance 12
Ambulance 13
Utility 11
Battalion 11
Any of the above units with a malfunctioning or no emitter need to be quoted for repair or purchase and installation.
