Waste reduction is further promoted in the City’s Solid Waste Comprehensive Plan, “On the Road to Sustainability,” and it supports the City’s goal to shrink its overall environmental impact and carbon footprint. Toward these goals, the City is seeking to hire vendors to establish and host two separate opt-out systems to serve residents and businesses. Vendors may bid on ONE or BOTH of the following specifications. The contract term for each specification will be for 5 years, plus a 2 year extension option.
