The operational audit will be a review of installed equipment and systems, an analysis of their functionality, and a mapping of deployment status against implementation plans. The activities should include:
a.    Conduct a field audit of Duke’s SmartGrid deployment to date.
b.    Conduct an analysis of the degree to which deployed components function as they should function (e.g., are the meters accurate).
c.    Compare the status of deployment to date with overall deployment plans and determine the extent of deployment remaining before SmartGrid is fully deployed.
