Operation and Management of Food Services
SPB is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors in response to this Request for Proposal for
Selection of a Vendor or multiple Vendors to provide Operation and Management of Food
Services at State Preservation Board properties located in the Capitol Complex in Austin, Texas.
The objective is to provide quality food services to patrons of the Capitol Complex at reasonable
prices. The services, which are more specifically described in Section 5.2 (Scope of Work) of
this RFP, include full-service food and beverage services for the Texas Capitol Extension
Cafeteria and Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum Caf, and the following additional
services for the Capitol and Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum: catering; take out delivery
services in Capitol Complex area; vending machines; mobile vending services for the Capitol
Grounds and Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum plaza; and facilitating the supply of drink
and snack products for sale by the SPB in the Museum theater. SPB reserves the right to award
the contract to one vendor or to two vendors, one for each property.
