Open Ended Request to Provide Foster Care Services
The purpose of the REQUEST is to enter into an open-ended contract with qualified Offerors to provide foster care services to children in the custody of DHS/DCFS when they are: 1) the baby of a child in DHS/DCFS custody, the mother is placed in a residential level of care and it is in the babys best interest to be placed with the mother; 2) a child placed in a home-based residential level of care who no longer requires that level of care but it is in the childs best interest to remain in the same home that has been providing the home based residential level of care; and, 3) as approved by the DHS/DCFS Regional Director, other children in DHS/DCFS custody, who, because of a special circumstance it is in their best interest to be placed with a residential care provider when the child doesnt require a residential level of care.
