Open CALL TO ARTISTS - "WATER GARDEN ISLAND FEATURE"
- This RFI had a pre-bid event.
The City is presently undertaking a series of initiatives that will assist in
the revitalization of the waterfront. A priority project amongst these
initiatives is the Prince Arthur's Landing redevelopment of the Marina Park area as a mixed-use village with expanded park areas and activities. The objective of this project is to stimulate increased economic development through tourism, provide a wider array of activities for residents of the region to enjoy, and assist in revitalizing the adjacent downtown area, neighbouring communities and region. Prince Arthur's Landing is in the detailed design phase and has commenced construction of site works. Construction is expected to be substantially completed by 2011.
