NOTICE OF INTENT SOLE SOURCE

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) Professional Services Contracting Division, located in Falls Church, Virginia, intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price contract to Relies LLC at 111 Corning Road, STE 250, Cary NC 27518-9238, for a one year period January 01, 2019 through December 30, 2019. Services are covered under NAICS code 518210 which has a size standard of $32.5M. The Contractor will maintain and provide mandated safety and regulatory training to the staff members of DoD Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs). The Contractor will be responsible to provide updates on current content to meet regulatory requirements and accreditation standards set by organizations such as:


- The Joint Commission (TJC)
- Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME)
- Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE)
- Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE)
- American College of Veterinary Medicine (ACVM)
- American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE)
- American College of Radiology (ACR)
- American Dental Association (ADA)
- American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- Joint Accreditation for Inter-professional Continuing Education (JA)
- National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC)
- Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
- Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
- The Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA)


The Service Medical Departments currently have 17,767 online modules. The Contractor must deliver professional agency accredited training products across numerous disciplines and occupations. The service provider must deliver training products designed to satisfy up-to-date regulatory and safety training requirements for military medical treatment facilities as defined by DoD and OSHA regulation and accrediting agency guidelines.


DHA is in the process of consolidating all of the DoD MTFs under DHA and there cannot be no gap in service for the delivery of training.


This notice is published for information purposes only and is NOT a request for competitive offers and a solicitation will not be issued; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements herein may submit a written response within fourteen (14) days of the issuance of this notice. All written responses must include a written narrative statement of capability and detailed technical information demonstrating the company's ability to meet the requirements herein. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
