NBAA’s in-person events offer business aviation industry personnel both networking and educational
opportunities. NBAA hosts multiple forums and seminars both in the United States and in other
countries throughout the year. Many NBAA Members would benefit from attending one or more of
these events but actually attending all of them is not logistically or financially feasible, especially for
smaller Member companies with fewer personnel. In 2007, NBAA began working with a vendor to offer
a combination of audio and video-recordings of certain educational portions of the in-person events and
then making them available with either downloadable supplemental material or with the presentation
materials professionally synched with the presenters’ remarks, or a combination of the two. Once
recorded these products are made available for a fee. Recordings from NBAA events are typically
available from the vendor within 30 days of the event’s conclusion, preferably earlier whenever
possible. In 2009, NBAA expanded the library of recorded offerings by also offering live 60-90 minute
fee-based webinars on stand-alone industry topics at a monthly interval. By mid-2010, webinars were
then offered an average of twice per month
