The United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine Applied Technology and Genomics Division (USAFSAM /FHT) is seeking to procure an oglio card for vendor supported primers necessary to perform DNA sequence analysis using next-gen sequencers. The oglio card will be used to purchase primers that cannot be identified until a further stage in the research timeline. These proprietary primers, are required to support a variety of research projects. These projects support the mission at the USAFSAM by providing continual evaluation, validation, and transition assistance with new off-the-shelf technologies and genomics technologies. The evaluation of improved methods will help fill in critical gaps in troop protection, diagnostics, epidemiology and preventative medicine. FHT is seeking to procure the supplies necessary to perform genotyping analyses and whole exome sequencing using equipment and instruments that are currently owned by USAFSAM. FHT's research is to support the medical screening of Airmen throughout their careers by developing surveillance assays for more than 30,000 annual accessions. Specifically, these supplies will be used to develop molecular assays for personalized healthcare screening for multiple DHP funded research projects.
This will be a one-time purchase order where the vendor will provide the below requirements for the oglio card (delivery schedule is attached with the caveat that the Government may change delivery dates if requirements change):
•1. Government Requirements
•a. The vendor will provide all consumables and accessories needed for this portion of the project.
•b. Vendor will deliver reagents with a minimum remaining shelf life of 6 months.
