Office of Health Care Access Hospital Reporting System
The State of Connecticuts Department of Information Technology (DOIT), IT Contracts & Purchasing
Division (CPD), is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) on behalf of the Office of Health Care Access (OHCA) to secure a contractor to overhaul and replace the database system used to collect the financial data named the Hospital Reporting System (here and after to be referred to as the Hospital Reporting System (HRS)). The selected contractor must be able to support the ongoing processing and maintenance tasks associated with the active use of a dynamic hospital financial and statistical database. The agency uses this database to satisfy many of its regulatory mandates and public information responsibilities. It is expected that this RFP will result in a contract to design the system, as well as maintain it for two additional years, therefore resulting in a three year contract from contract signing.
