Office Supplies
Under the current system, state agencies submit 92% of their orders bye-commerce on the state office
supply contract via the internet. A few orders may be sent by fax, mail or telephone. Most of the large
state agencies which utilize this contract are located in Pulaski and surrounding counties, but delivery
points may include multiple locations in all 75 Arkansas counties. The large agencies each have many cost
account centers which are invoiced separately by the current contractor. The current contract is also being
used on a non-mandatory basis by the state's cooperative procurement participants who include counties,
municipalities and school districts, and this will continue under the new contract.
The selected respondent(s) will be required to publish a personalized "State of Arkansas" catalogl
pricer, in paper and online (electronic e-commerce environment). Respondent(s) must have the
capability to distribute updated printed cataloglpricers as needed. Products associated with the
following categories must be clearly labeled: Minority Business (by Arkansas definition), Recycled
Content, Green Content, Private Label Brand and New Catalog Items. The Office of State Procurement
reserves the right to restrict, add, or remove items from the catalog.
