This is a Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to provide a potential requirement.
The Influenza program at the VRC is increasing clinical evaluations on this topical disease, with studies already enrolling in the Clinical Trials Center. Additional products and trials are planned for the next 3 years with the goal of the influenza vaccine designs is to elicit high affinity specific antibodies. A major component will be Influenza specific assays. The VRC requires the use of an Octet Red384 (or equal) system which allows for the measurement of real time kinetic interactions. It also allows label-free binding measurements such as to support titer, potency, identification, specificity and anti-drug antibody determinations necessary for furtherment of understanding the immune response to influenza and ultimately develop more efficacious influenzas vaccines.
The NIH/NIAID is looking for interested parties that could provide an Octet Red 384 High throughput small and large molecule characterization system or provide a capability statement/information of equipment that meets the performance of an Octet Red 384. (Includes the ability to analyze up to 16 samples simultaneously, with sample quantitation in 2 mins, giving the high throughput to enable faster result and data generation and result to vaccine determination.)
Responses should include:
Brochure of equipment with all specifications
Place of manufacture
Distributer name, DUNS #, business size for NAICs code 334516, and lead-time
Please register as an interested party on the posting.
