Observatory Park Project
A Pre-bid Meeting will be hosted on August 18, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. A five percent (5%) Bid Bond is required with the bid; 100 percent (100%) Performance and Payment Bonds will be required from the successful bidder.
The contract includes, but is not limited to the creation of an interpretive pocket park and the development of an interpretive program on the site. The park will include new fence around the Observatory and Meridian Pier, new pathways, a stone path that wobbles through the park, benches, a garden filled with native Maryland species, and information kiosks throughout the park.
