Oahe Project replace maintenance facility lighting feeder
Contractor is to install new conductors in conduit for the perimeter lighting system at the Oahe Maintenance Facility. The contractor will furnish, supply, and install conductors and conduit for the entire system. All work shall conform to the requirements of the current National Electrical Code and these specifications. Licenses, permits, and any required state taxes will be obtained and/or paid by the contractor.
The existing conductors are not in conduit and will be abandoned in place. The conductors will be installed on the drawings. The approximate length of the main feeder for 11 lights is about 2100 feet. The other feeder to supply power to a single light is about 150 feet. Most of the installation will be trenched, with areas under roads or concrete parking lots to be directionally bored.
