Intent:
A priority of Oregons educational system is to recruit and retain teachers of the highest quality.
As part of this goal, the Oregon Department of Education is issuing grants in the areas of
teacher mentoring programs and peer coaching programs. This project is an opportunity to
design and support programs that insure a quality teaching force in Oregon.

Grant projects will support public school administrators or teachers K-12 through
mentoring/induction programs and peer coaching programs. Project applicants will work in
partnership with school districts to accomplish these goals.
